Fall Throw Pillows

I’ve never been one for seasonal decor; however, there’s something about this year that feels different. I’m craving warm neutrals, hints of print and decor that feels relevant to the season. But since I’m scared of change, I’m starting small with fall throw pillows. I love my light, airy vibe – but they say to do one thing everyday that scares you.

There’s a sense of presence and place in decorating in a way that reflects a seasonal change. Now, that doesn’t mean stocking up on pumpkin shaped pillows or apple scented candles (unless that’s your vibe, then go off queen!). I’m talking about bringing elements of nature inside, experimenting with prints or colors that you’d normally shy away from, incorporating ambient light to create a mood – even if it’s just a Tuesday night. A transitioning season is a great time to try something new.

Throw pillows have a relatively low barrier to entry – don’t overthink this. You can go all solid, you can mix and match different prints – go with what moves you. I rounded up some fall throw pillows that spoke to me. And yes, I did order the tiger round pillow below, because life is too short to not indulge a bit.
