Holiday Gifts for the Runner
I know the title says “runner” – but any of these little gems could work for the active people in your life. There’s so many things about running that are so personal, like shoes and clothes. A lot of these holiday gift ideas for runners are one size fits all and are generally things that aren’t super fun to buy for yourself, but would be fun to receive.
Happy gifting!!
Hypervolt Massage Gun – $129
This little massage gun packs a big punch. This tool helps to relieve sore and tight muscles through targeted percussion. I love the flat head for large muscle groups and the pointed head for smaller areas – so good before a run!
Coros Pace 2 Sport Watch – $199
This watch does it all. Tracks steps, workouts, laps and distance. With a variety of sport options, the Coros Pace 2 is a great beginner option with a relatively user interface. I personally like the easy to read watch face.
Feetures Elite Light Cushion Quarter – $18
These are the only socks I will run in. The. Only. Ones. The compression is just enough and the height of the sock keeps my ankles clean by protecting them from the kickback of puddles, dirt, etc. Plus, they last forever.
Fast and Free Running Hat – $38
Running hats are so hit or miss, but this one is a big old homerun. I love the shape and there’s room for my ponytail. It comes in tons of great colors and is machine washable.
Shokz Open Run Mini – $129
I was an AirPods girly until I met these over the ear headphones. Using bone conduction, these headphones use little speakers that sit next to the ear, so that the person wearing them can still hear everything around them. I feel super safe wearing these because I’m more alert to my surroundings.
Elta MD Facial Sunscreen – $41
Just because the temps are cooling off doesn’t mean we leave the house without sunscreen on. This one is far and away my favorite. It glides on just like moisturizer and with an spf of 46, Elta MD has incredible sun protection. A little goes a long way!
Seat Sweat Protector – $40 (set of two)
I think this might be the most genius invention of all time (at least on Amazon). These microfiber seat protectors keep sweat from staining car seats after an intense workout. I keep them in the trunk and use when necessary. They wash well and dry fast!
SPIbelt – $27
Love this belt from a woman owned company in Austin! The belt is fully adjustable and can fit keys, id and a phone comfortable. It can even hold some gels if you need extra fuel storage space. And it doesn’t move one bit once it’s secured.
Restfeel Recovery Slides – $58
The best part of the workout is the recovery. Sliding these babies on after a shower is heaven. I know folks who use these as house shoes, they’re so comfortable. Designed to help give the tootsies a rest, any active person would love to have these.
